It’s official. After years of planning, designing, and building, we celebrated the VIP Grand Opening of Altitude at Three Sisters Mountain Village in Canmore.
We were proud to open not one, but five new show homes at Altitude, and the response from everyone who came through the doors made every bit of the effort worth it.
A Milestone That Means Something
This project is personal for the Logel family. Canmore is where it all started, where Tim and Sherry took their first major risk as homebuilders, walking a piece of land in the Peaks of Grassi and betting on a vision. That first project laid the foundation for everything Logel Homes is today.
Coming back to build here, decades later, with 239 homes, five show homes, and a team of 90, it’s the kind of milestone that doesn’t go unnoticed.
At the opening, Tim reflected on that journey: from a challenging first project, to standing in front of one of the Bow Valley’s most thoughtfully designed new communities.
Built in Record Time, But Without Compromise
One of the things we’re most proud of? This apartment building was completed in under a year, 11 months, to be exact. The Canadian average for a building of this scale is 23 months. Our construction team did it in nearly half the time, and the quality you walk through speaks for itself.
Kevin Logel acknowledged it directly in his remarks: it didn’t come without headaches and challenges, but the team — from VP of Construction Ryan Dyck to project managers, site superintendents, and every trade on site, pulled together and delivered.
Show Homes Worth the Drive to Canmore
The five show homes at Altitude represent some of the best design Logel Homes has ever brought to market. From the innovative floor plans to the interior design, every detail was considered.
Buyers have noticed. We’re approaching the halfway mark of the project in just over a year and a half, and the people taking possession aren’t shy about their feelings. Some have walked out onto their decks and cried. That’s not something you expect to hear as a builder, but it’s been happening.
